For large volume industrial gas users, SOXAL offers supplies by pipelines. This is by far the most sustainable, economical and uninterrupted mode of supply particularly for the oil refining, petrochemical and chemical companies which are mostly located at Jurong Island.

Other major industries such as metal fabrication, shipbuilding, pharmaceutical which are located near our main gas pipe routes in Jurong and Tuas areas, are also enjoying the benefits from pipeline supplies.

 

All of SOXAL's pipeline gases are supplied at the highest quality from production to point of usage. Monitoring is by means of a metering station installed at individual customers' sites. Continuous review is being made to ensure that the gases conform strictly to specifications and are also supplied within safety limits.

 

Reliability on continuous supply is assured with multiple layers of backup systems such as liquid storage tanks and standby plants. In case of a stoppage in the pipeline system, supplies will automatically switch over to the liquid gas backup source.
