In 1998, SOXAL invested in an Electronic Material Centre and Clean Room Fabrication centre, specifically to meet the growing needs of Singapore’s semiconductor and wafer fab industry.

SOXAL’s Electronic Material Centre

Completed and operational in 1998, this advanced 11,000 square-metre ESG centre occupies a two-hectare land area fronting the Johor Straits at the northwestern region of Singapore. Its facilities include a Class 100 clean room area of 600 m2 complete with ultra-clean piping systems and facilities for cylinder preparation and cylinder filling. It has a production capacity for 30,000 cylinders per year. There are on-site gas disposal and detection system installed for the safe disposal of hazardous waste gases. This state-of-the-art centre demonstrates SOXAL’s commitment to the semiconductor and wafer fab industry.

Clean Room Fabrication Centre

Our Clean Room Fabrication Centre comprises a fully integrated system installed specifically for the pre-fabrication of bulk and specialty gas distribution components, valve manifold boxes (VMB), and gas cabinets. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities like ultra high-purity nitrogen and argon systems gas analysers as well as automatic cutting and facing tools. The Clean Room Fabrication Centre’s design and production team has been carefully staffed by some of the region’s finest engineers and most experienced welders specialising in ultra-high purity welding.

Wafer Fab Gas Systems Engineering Services

Our trained and reputable systems engineering team is capable of meeting the wafer fab industry's specialised needs from gas pipeline distribution design and installation, gas cabinets, gaseous chemicals systems and other equipment, to the implementation of on-site gas management and services.  SOXAL has equipped Singapore's finest fabs with ultra-high purity gas pipelines and distribution systems up to Class 1 particle standard, including state-of-the-art gas monitoring and analytical systems capable of measuring impurities down to levels in part per trillion (ppt).
