Air enrichment in oxygen is the adapted solution if you wish to reach high production outputs with existing fermentors and to maintain, in aerobic fermentation, the dissolved oxygen value in narrow limits; eliminate CO₂ produced by most micro-organisms and optimize the oxygen transfer along the fermentation process.  

   

Principle

You can add pure oxygen to your reactor in two ways:  

• Direct injection; and
• Through enrichment of the air flow.

Parameters, such as synthesized products type, reactor size and its design, and the viscosity, will determine the best choice in terms of injection technology. The air enrichment technology is the simplest method to implement since it does not required any modification on the existing fermentor.

In order to validate the implementation of the oxygen solution, you will be required to provide an industrial-scale test results that are done in the laboratories.
