SOXAL Awarded SSMC Best Supplier Award 2008  [ Return towards  SOXAL News  ]

Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company (SSMC), a joint venture between NXP and TSMC hosted Supplier Day on 16^th April 2009, acknowledging the contributions made by suppliers. SOXAL was awarded the ‘Best Supplier Award’ – Indirect Materials Category, in recognition of its value-driven services, reliability and quality to SSMC in 2008. Underscoring its excellent record to SSMC, this is the second time that SOXAL has received this prestigious award, having received its first one for 2006. 

SOXAL received the award based on its performance in SSMC’s supplier rating system, in which materials suppliers are assessed, based on performance, in the areas of technology support, quality, responsiveness, commitment, dependency, logistics and price.

Other ‘Best Supplier Awards’ were given to Applied Materials Varian Semiconductor and LAM Research in the ‘Repair and Maintenance Category.’ Dow Electronic Materials was also a winner in the ‘Indirect Materials Category,’ and Tee Hai in partnership with Mallinckrodt Baker, received the Special Recognition Award.
