Chartered Outstanding Service Award  [ Return towards  SOXAL News  ]

SOXAL’s track record of providing excellent service to the Electronics Sector continues with another plaudit from Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing. Recognised for his excellent support and contributions through the “Outstanding Service Award” presented during the annual Chartered Suppliers Day 2009, Mr Sim Chin Siang shared his thoughts on what made him such a dedicated engineer.

Why do you feel you were selected for the Outstanding Service Award?

Supporting Chartered and ensuring an uninterrupted supply to Chartered is a responsibility that I take very seriously. One must be committed, driven and always exploring areas of improvement, placing the customer’s interest as a top priority. Above all, I strive to ensure all safety and reliability guidelines from SOXAL are adhered to by my team and me, ensuring an incident-free Total Gas Management Operation in Chartered.

How did you feel after realising that you had been awarded the Outstanding Service Award?

While I was surprised at first, this award will encourage my team and me to work harder and hopefully, replicate this success again next year.
